No idea what "alt.metal" is. Bad enough kids these days want every band to have their on unique sub-sub-sub-genre, now we have alternatives to those? :idk

They have Fluff vid that might explain it, but I try not to click on those anymore...

I forgot about this thing as soon as I listened to clips of it. Pretty much every band in the alt-metal scene (ex: Helmet, Incubus, Tool, Sevendust, Faith No More, ect) used passive pickups so I

I think the PRS HFS is probably much closer to the alt-metal sound than this pickup, or perhaps the Duncan JB/Distortion
