This vid popped up on my Youtube feed. Never seen or heard of this guy but his points reinforce a lot of what I've been working on with composition and how to manage those ideas in a way that feels productive and satisfying. The philosophy could be applied generally to a lot of crafts though. Simple is usually better (or more effective) as he pointed out. It's something I'm continually working on and to not overthink too much.
I've also heard a few guys here say they've struggled with writing or recording an idea so maybe there are some tidbits in the vid to help.
