I need to take some pictures of the other ones but you would be forgiven for thinking I quite like the two extra notes.🤣

Honestly I don't really care if I have 21 or 24 frets. I find myself pretty rarely venturing so deep into the "weedley-weedley-wee" territory of the fretboard. 22 frets seems about right without compromises like moving the neck pickup closer to the bridge.

I would only mind the pickup move if I only had 24fret guitars.
It’s an interesting question,Warmoth did a great video about it.
Also have you ever heard anyone complain about the sound of the neck pickup on an SG? You guessed it, same position as on a 24 fretter.

I actually don’t own a 24 fret at the moment. I do like them though. Something nice about the symmetry of two full octaves on the neck

I still have way more 22 fretters and a few 21s. But I like to visualise stuff on a full two octave fingerboard. I wish they all had a 24 fret marker though I find it helps when swapping between 22 and 24. Instant reassurance . The number of times I go for a d on the end of a 21 is funny.

Speaking of no 24th fret marker... But it's a short scale and I don't think a dot would fit between the frets!

This one I'm going to sell... It just doesn't get much play time. Very nice guitar, though.

My $400 Japanese Schecter. Great for what I paid for it.
